✨ A heartfelt reunion with a long-time friend of the lab ✨

Great to welcome Professor Antonio M. Solé-Cava from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Life Sciences this week! 🎉 🎉 🎉  

🥼 We started the day at the lab, introducing Professor Antonio to our upcoming projects. The professor also shared his research focus on molecular species identification and conservation genetics. His thoughtful questions and sharp insights made for a dynamic exchange immediately.

🏫 We then toured the institute’s exhibition hall and facilities, where our CTO presented key achievements across enzyme engineering, biomedical big data, and multi-omics. The visit concluded with productive discussions on life science translational opportunities.  Science is often about data and breakthroughs, but moments like these remind us how deeply it’s rooted in connection, trust, and the friendships that grow from a shared passion for discovery. ❤️  

We sincerely anticipate that Professor Antonio will use LAMP technology to help protect endangered Brazilian fish species and crack down on market labeling fraud. 👏
