● Sulfamethazine sodium is white or milky white crystalline powder, odorless or almost odorless, easily soluble in water and slightly soluble in ethanol. Sulfamethazine sodium is an antibacterial sulfa drug that induces CYP3A4 expression and acetylation by N-acetyltransferase.
● Sulfamethazine sodium is used as a feed additive to prevent and treat Staphylococcus and hemolytic streptococcus infections, that is, it mainly treats avian cholera, avian typhoid fever, and chicken coccidiosis.
● Sulfamethazine sodium is used to prevent and treat Staphylococcus and Streptococcus lyticus infections. It has an inhibitory effect on Streptococcus hemolyticus and Pleurococcus. It is mainly used to treat fowl cholera, avian typhoid fever, chicken coccidiosis, etc.
