LAMP Fluorescent Master Mix - HYB314
LAMP Fluorescent Master Mix Cat. No. HYB314

Product Overview

HYB314 LAMP Fluorescent Master Mix is a liquid reagent system for DNA detection by loop-mediated isothermal amplification (LAMP). The system includes a Bst DNA polymerase enzyme mix, amplification buffer containing magnesium ions and dNTPs, fluorescent dye, and a lyophilization protectant.

The supplied components are combined with assay-specific primers and DNA template to establish an isothermal amplification reaction. Fluorescence measurement enables real-time monitoring of amplification on compatible instruments.

The liquid format provides flexibility for reaction setup and assay optimization. The included lyophilization protectant also supports development of freeze-dried reagent formats. HYB314 provides a platform for fluorescent DNA assay development, instrument-based molecular testing, and POCT reagent development.

FAQ

Q1: What is the main difference between HYB314 and HYB312?

The main difference is the detection method.
HYB312: pH-based colorimetric LAMP with visual red-to-yellow interpretation
HYB314: fluorescent LAMP with instrument-based real-time signal monitoring
HYB314 is therefore better suited for applications where objective fluorescence detection, amplification-curve monitoring, or integration with an optical POCT instrument is required.

Q2: Does HYB314 require a real-time PCR instrument?

HYB314 requires a device capable of maintaining the LAMP reaction temperature and detecting the relevant fluorescence signal.

Q3: Can HYB314 be used to develop lyophilized LAMP reagents?

Yes. HYB314 includes a lyophilization protectant that can be incorporated into the formulation when developing freeze-dried fluorescent LAMP reagents.
