Product Overview
HYF235 Velocut BbsI is a recombinant restriction endonuclease developed for rapid and efficient DNA digestion. It can digest DNA containing the appropriate BbsI recognition site, including plasmid DNA, PCR products, and genomic DNA.
Under the recommended reaction conditions, digestion can be completed in 5–15 minutes at 37°C. The enzyme is compatible with standard reaction buffer and color reaction buffer. The color buffer contains red and yellow tracking dyes, allowing digested samples to be loaded directly onto an agarose gel without adding a separate loading dye. In a 1% agarose gel, the red dye migrates similarly to approximately 2,500 bp double-stranded DNA, while the yellow dye migrates similarly to approximately 10 bp double-stranded DNA.
HYF235 Velocut BbsI is insensitive to Dam, Dcm, and CpG methylation and can be heat-inactivated at 80°C for 20 minutes. Store at −20°C for up to 2 years.
