S-adenosylmethionine(SAM)
Description
S-Adenosyl methionine (SAM) is an auxiliarysubstrate involved in methyl transfer reaction. It is synthesized in vivo by adenosine triphosphate and methionine under the action of Methionine adenosyltransferase. SAM is prepared in 0.01 M HCL and 10% ETOH and filtered.
